LIBERIA

Partnering with the non-profit group Edify, I created this mural on the side of a shipping container. While I painted the outside, members of the group built a classroom inside, complete with desks, chairs, and a whiteboard. Assembled in Texas, the container was shipped to Liberia to be used as a functioning classroom. Adapting my design to the ridged sides of the container was a challenge, but it was deeply fulfilling to contribute to something larger than my art.
