Overview
My process begins on paper, where the forms develop intuitively around a faint guiding line. It’s a visual language shaped by years of drawing. The design is then digitized and translated into a laser-cut pattern, where each mark becomes a precise cut in carefully sanded wood. Two hundred and forty-five pieces are hand-finished and assembled, building up three layers that create the final 18 × 36 inch sculpture.
